Lake Trip Hangover – Week 16 Recap

don't-forgetIt was a beautiful night of golf…weather-wise!  But, according to the scores, it looked like there was a lake trip hangover!

There were two sub-40 scratch scores: BRUCE THOMAS (39) and NICK KAUSCH (38).  There were only two sub-40 net scores: MARTY YANICS (29/46) and MARK BALVEN (29/43).

In the standings, it appears to be a two-horse race: G & G SNOW PLOW got all 10 points and now have a 5.5 point lead over SOUTHSIDE MACHINE.

A couple of guys from the Milestone Watch earned wins on the night: RAY GILLICK (#148) and BOB HAEGELE (#96).  A couple of guys joined a less-sought-after club: BOB DEGUNIA and LARRY MOELLERING each earned their 100th career loss.

Here’s The Good, The Bad & The Ugly:

The closest-to-the-pin honors went to a couple of guys who have been around this block before: BRUCE THOMAS (second week in a row) and BOB DEGUNIA; it’s the third win of the season for each guy!

With only a few weeks of golf remaining, the year-end awards are starting to look clearer and clearer:

The match of the week will feature Team #8 (HAEGELE NURSERY) lookin’ to stop the freight train!

COOT SAYS: “Teams need to communicate and help fill any voids for this week’s Thursday/Friday Daily Double!”
