For The First Time Since 1999, Maybe – Week 15 Recap

princeWho cares about the weather?

HEYL FARMS remains on top! They got 6.5 points to keep their hold on the league lead of the standings.  But, they’re only 3 points up on C.E.S. and JOEY B’s who are both tied for second place with 30 points.

NEWS FLASH………………………………………………..

PAUL THE PAINTER got all 10 points for the first time since the summer of 1999 (I think)!  They swept G & G SNOW PLOW to get enough points to skyrocket to sixth place (from eleventh) and are now just 8 points out of the top spot with a few weeks to go!

TIM SARGENT got the low-net-score of the night with his 27 (46).  MARK BALVEN and JOHN WESTRICH took home the closest-to-the-pin honors of the night.

JEFF LAURY (#96) and JOHN GREFFET (#148) each earned a win on the Milestone Watch.  Meanwhile, with his 95th career victory, JOHN WESTRICH was added to the watch list.  Less exciting, ROB GAYLORD got his 100th loss of his career.  Since we finished another quarter of the season, you can see the updated career records on the Player Records page.  The League Rankings have also been updated – check them out!

The Match of the Week for Week 16 will feature team #10 (PAUL THE PAINTER) and team #12 (BROTHER JOHN) – can the Coot Cubbies do it again?

***NOTICE*** LET’S GET THE “MATCH PLAY” MATCHES WRAPPED UP BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR…YEP…JUST 5 WEEKS LEFT.

PS – it was good to see HARTE getting his money back by grabbing a skin! (Don’t mess with the big boys, Dave)
