90+ degrees…slight breeze…on the Woodlands….and boy did Woody kick butt!
There were only 2 sub-40 rounds on the day. All due to the blue tees being back and pin placements were crazy. But that did not stop the First Half winners though as Team #2, C.E.S., is looking to change the disappointment from being the runner up from last year. They now have a chance for the cup, hoping to return to their victory of the 2020 season.
CONGRATULATIONS C.E.S.!
Aiding in that victory was ROLAND LAURY who is feeling good these days and shot a 44 to win & clinch the title. That victory also put him on the leaderboard for the Best Record Award.
The low scratch score was carded by DAVE HARTE & JOE JOE, each with a 39, the only sub-40 rounds on the night. Low net score was CHUCK LIZENBEE‘s 30 (43).
The closest to winners on the night were CD LONGO & MATT JOST.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, & THE UGLY
THE GOOD: The “Senior” “Senior” foursome of the night (see pic below), totaling 284 years of age!
THE BAD: “Blow up handicap nite”
THE UGLY: 0-7?
FYI! FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR, RAKE & PLACE!
“Next week, all teams are tied for first place!”
