School’s Out – Week 8 Recap

70 degrees & windy on the Meramec – not like San Diego, more like San Francisco!

But that didn’t stop TC & CO. from extending their lead to 4 points (41) over second place, now occupied by SOUTHSIDE MACHINE and JOEY B’S both tied with 37 points. Right behind them is K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. with 36.5 points and METRO ELECTRIC with 36. At the same time, GILLICK BRICKWORK took all 10 points in their match to put them in sixth place and 7.5 out of first – solidly in the race!

With only a few weeks of scoring left, it’s a very tight race, which leads us to the Match of the Week for next Thursday on the Prairie track: TC & CO. vs. JOEY B’S!

Individual scores led to the lowest league stroke average of the season at 45.4 (bringing the season average down to 46.0). Leading the way was JOHNY MEYER‘s even-par-36, good for the low scratch score of the night. DOUG WERNER shot a 42, which netted out to a 23 – the low net score (and only 3 greater than the league-record-20 that he himself set back in 2019 ).
