There were threatening skies all night long, temps were in the low-seventies, and the winds were whipping upwards of 40 mph on The Prairie – but nothing mattered more than #40!
And year #40 is off & running with lots of happenings!
For starters, JOEY B’S & HEYL FARMS took all 10 points (um, which means THE TUREK BROTHERS & AALCO MFG. got none).
TOM SIMON got one of the first closest to prizes on the new season; DAVE HEGGER got the other.
There were a whopping 4 skins on the night, one of those being an eagle on #9 by TIM GARDNER…that was inches away from an albatross, something that’s never happened in the history of the league!
The low scratch score on the night was carded by JASON GILLICK (35). The low net score was…well…maybe next time.
