It Took 13 Weeks – Week 13 Recap

It took 13 weeks, but Coot’s guys finally got wet with rain interrupting Week 13 play on the Woodlands. Although most guys got in on time, the last 5 groups did not. The course shutting down due to weather led to a pro-rated scorecard for those final groups.

We had a total of 12 Cooters on the night who subbed for other teams. Which is a good time for a reminder: WEEK 14 IS NEXT TUESDAY, JUNE 30TH! Need a sub?

The weather didn’t stop TIM GARDNER from going under par for the low scratch score of the night, 34. That puts him #2 in the rankings, just .20 behind JASON GILLICK for the top spot (and still comfortably ahead of Moose).

Who had the low net score? It wasn’t DOUG.

ELIOT KITE had one of the closest to prizes, TIM GARDNER the other. The Woodlands bonus closest to, good for a Joey B’s gift card, went to MARTY YANICS.

On the Milestone Watch, BOB HAEGELE joined the 150 Win Club with his win on the night.

THE TUREK BROTHERS kept the second half vibes rolling. They got 5 points to maintain their hold of First Place by the slimmest of margins…a half point. Two weeks into the half, and after some prorated scorecards, there’s still only 10 points separating First & Last…it’s anyone’s half!

FYI – Lake Classic? Deadline coming.

“Carryover on skins for next week, $250 plus.”
