That’s right…for the first time in the long, 27-year history of the Coot Brown Golf League, there is a new #1 golfer! As of the first league rankings of 2013, Bruce Thomas (37.63) had a 0.87 point lead over Dave Schweitzer (38.50) to hold onto his top-ranking.
However, after Week 7, that has changed when Bruce shot at 40 and Dave a 33.
Bruce’s stroke average now sits at 37.63 while Dave’s is 37.40. That means, for the first time, Dave is the sole-owner of the top spot in the rankings, by 0.23 points.
The summary: age must finally be getting to Bruce!

Help me, I’m old and forgetful. I lost my Taylor Made Burner 2.0 #6 iron during league play on May 30. I think I left in from of the 18 green. If anyone picked it up please let me know. Thanks.
