Week 20 featured 86-degrees and a nice breeze on the Prairie.
The POSITION ROUND IS SET and it’s looking good for JOEY B’S, who got all 10 points to pole vault ahead with a 6-point lead over METRO ELECTRIC, the biggest spread between First and Second place in weeks!
JOEY B’S is the favorite to challenge the first half winners, TC & CO. for the Cup.
A few notes on the night: Cooters had a bit of trouble on the round, leading to one of the highest league stroke averages of the season (45.8 – the 3rd highest of the season). There were 11 scores in the 50s and 2 in the 60s. It was such a rough night, there were no low-net scores worth listing!
That didn’t stop MATT GARDNER from carding the low scratch score of the night with his even-par 36, besting his uncle by his 6 stroke promise.
The closest to winners on the night were MASON ERMOLD and MIKE MARCHI. Additionally, there were 2 skins given out on the night to JACK KITE and TOM SIMON.
It was a milestone night for BOB DEGUNIA, who became just the 16th Cooter in 40 years to earn 200 career victories…2,226 days after he got #200 (7/16/2020)!
CONGRATULATIONS BIG ONIONS!
That sets up the Second Half Position Round for Week 21. Here are the match-ups for the competition:
