It was another perfect night of weather for golf and Coot’s guys were back on the front-nine…a recipe for great scores, right? Well, not exactly.
Despite those conditions, there were only two sub-40 scores turned in on the night: KEVIN TYLER (38) & DAVE SCHUSTER (39). The low-net-score on the night, though, was turned in by GARY PADBERG with his stellar round of 30 (50).
In the standings, C.E.S. earned eight points on the night to stretch their lead to five points over second place AALCO MFG. On the other end, teams #4 & #8 (SOUTHSIDE MACHINE & HAEGELE NURSERY) are starting to lag behind the infamous magic number of staying 10 points within the top spot.
Here’s The Good, The Bad & The Ugly:
- THE GOOD: First match up ever between father-son duo, KEVIN GARDNER & GARY GARDNER.
- THE BAD: That match up ended in a tie…
- THE UGLY: NO RESPECT!
Closest-to-the-pin honors were nabbed by the aforementioned KEVIN GARDNER and CHRIS TOCKSTEIN. Meanwhile, on the Milestone Watch…well…nothing happened.
Feature Match of the Week for Week 5: C.E.S. vs. AALCO MFG. – with the teams in first and second place, respectively, this match up could impact the standings for the rest of the first half!
