Haegele Nursery Holds Off Southside Machine – Week 11 Recap

The cloudy skies and 80-degree temps were rather nice. The modified start was rather nice. The battle between HAEGELE NURSERY and SOUTHSIDE MACHINE was rather nice.

After holding off SOUTHSIDE MACHINE, HAEGELE NURSERY won the First Half and is in the hunt for their first league title since 2003.

“Wow, 16 years…long time comin’, brother,” said team captain, JOHN DAVIS.

CONGRATULATIONS HAEGELE NURSERY!

NICK KAUSCH (35) and TIM GARDNER (35) had the low scratch scores of the night. Meanwhile, CHRIS TOCKSTEIN (26/41) and TIM SARGENT (27/42) had the low net scores of the night. RAY GILLICK and MIKE WAMSER grabbed the closest-to-the-pin honors and GARY WILLIAMS got #146.

The 19th hold was abuzz with Lake Tourney talk startin’ up already and the celebration of RYAN VAN DILLEN and JIM ROESCH who each grabbed $200 on the traditional halfway point of $10 skins.

FYI – don’t be left out: deadline is July 10th for the Lake Tourney and pairings will be drawn on July 18th in the Clubhouse after golf!

“WE’RE HALFWAY THERE!”
