Some updates as we prepare for Thursdays launch:
- One player per golf cart.
- Driving range is closed.
- Do not arrive more than 15 minutes early.
- No beverage cart; you can buy products prior to play.
- All players must leave after completing their round – no one can stick around to congregate.
- No rakes in the bunkers.
- Putt with the flag in on all greens.
- Maximum of 4 in the clubhouse at one time.
Abiding by these restrictions will help Tapawingo comply with all local and state regulations and, therefore, remain open for the start of the 34th season and beyond!
Any questions, call Governor Parsons.
Mark your calendars because we are
STILL ON FOR THE SEASON OPENER!
KG talked with our friends at Tapawingo National on March 27th and plans are on to start the season as scheduled on Thursday, April 9th. The team there will be adding in special precautions to protect everyone’s health and well-being and prevent contributing to the spread of the virus.
Precautions you can expect include:
- Every golfer will receive their own cart; no one will share carts (note: you should also make sure not to share clubs, golf balls, or other equipment and supplies).
- When you arrive, you’ll go into the clubhouse to pay for your cart and then you’ll immediately leave the space to prevent more than 10 people from being in there at one time.
- There will be no mingling or gathering allowed in the clubhouse or on the patio.
- There WILL be a beer cart on the course to provide refreshments throughout league play!
This is the situation as of March 27th. As has been the case since this all started, it is an ever-evolving situation that could lead to various unknown changes. We will keep the website updated on a regular basis of any changes or updates that might be relevant to you and the rest of the Cooters. So, keep checking the site…nothing new there means no updates.
