It was a San Diego-like night on the famous Meramec Course. A perfect night for another night of golf for Coot’s stir-crazy guys.
Speaking of a Corona Hot Spot…AALCO MFG. took all 10 points for the second week in a row. Sorry, SOUTHSIDE MACHINE, but AALCO MFG. pole-vaulted into first place, ahead of THE TUREK BROTHERS with a 2-point lead.
That does set up for the feature match of the week on Monday (Week 3 makeup) as AALCO MFG. will take on METRO ELECTRIC. Never before in league history has a team gotten all 10 points for three weeks in a row – will this be the first time?
On the personal front, the low scratch score was carded by JIM ROESCH (36) and the low net score by GARY SCHMIDT (29/41). Closest-to-the-pin honors were brought in by BRAD GARLICH and JOE SONDERMAN and JEFF POHRER got another win on his Milestone Watch efforts.
