Better Not Look Out The Back Door – Week 17 Recap

There was finally a break in the heat as temps were only in the mid-80s. But, the heat wasn’t the battle for Week 17, it was the rain.

There were a couple of rain delays on the Prairies…but that didn’t stop EVERY team to move in the standings.

Well, except one team: the team in the top spot, JOEY B’S kept their hold on First Place. But, there’s no room for them to be looking out their back door as they only have a 1-point lead over GILLICK BRICKWORK.

In total, there are 4 different teams within just 2.5 points of the top spot with only a few weeks of scoring remaining in the Second Half!

It was a tough day for the individual scores, thanks to the rain. There were just 4 sub-40 rounds carded on the night.

Leading the way was BRUCE THOMAS (38) while KEVIN GARDNER had the low net score of the night (39/27).

JOHN COOPER and DAVE HEGGER took home the closest to prizes on the night and BOB HAEGELE finally won.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, & THE UGLY…

THE GOOD: Not getting rained out!
THE BAD: Team #3 back to their old ways!
THE UGLY: Lake Strategy

The stage is set for a special Tuesday night of golf and a Feature Match between JOEY B’S (first place) and PAUL THE PAINTER (last place).

TUESDAY GOLF NEXT WEEK ON THE WOODLANDS. NEED A SUB OR LOOKING TO PLAY? CONTACT KG.
