Yup, The Prairies – Week 2 Recap

It was sunny, breezy, 62-degrees for Coot’s guys to get back at it for the second week of #35. But, it wasn’t only the nice weather that greeted the guys; yup, it was the Prairie Course for the first time on the young season.

And, as it’s known to do, the Prairies stuck its lil’ head up again. In fact, it’s the reason why we initiated the “Dave Hegger Rule”!

There was only 1 sub-40 round on the night that was also the low scratch score, MATT HINES (38). There were no low net scores to make note of.

But…Part 2 in the standings…wow!

Two different teams recorded 10-point sweeps on the night: K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. & HEYL FARMS. That big night put K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. in First Place and catapulted HEYL FARMS out of Last Place and into a tie for Fifth Place. After just 2 weeks of play, we’re already seeing a separation in the standings.

JOHNY MEYER and MATT HINES took home the closest-to prize money. On the Milestone Watch, GREG GILLICK and JOE TUREK JR. have just 2 to go and JIM ROESCH has 3.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: The addition of TC & CO. & LONGO BIGGS.
THE BAD: The addition of TC & CO. & LONGO BIGGS.
THE UGLY: TC & CO. & LONGO BIGGS gettin’ shut out.

“Good seeing GARY SEYMOUR out of retirement!”
