What’s the Definition of Cooter? – Week 7 Recap

The definition of “COOTER” is when anyone gets the maximum allowed strokes on any given hole, 10.

The reasonf or the explanation?

It’s possible this was the worst display of Coot Brown golf in recent memory.

There was a total of 17 Cooters recorded on the night – 8 of them were on the par-5 #4 alone! KYLE RICKERMANN contributed two of the Cooters on his own.

There were only 2 sub-40 rounds carded on the night by JIM JOST (39) and GREG HANTAK (38). Going into Week 7, the weekly stroke average was 46.2. Week 7’s was 47.1, nearly an entire stroke above average.

But, despite all that, the standings were active. KENRICK’S MEATS (Team 11) managed to take all 10 points from METRO ELECTRIC (Team 3) to jump back into Second Place, just 6.5 points out of First Place. HAEGELE NURSERY (Team 2) held onto the top spot and still only has 2 other teams in 10-point striking distance.

Let’s see if JOEY B’S (Team 6) can knock off HAEGELE NURSERY for the match of the week for Week 8.

Another storyline on the night was two guys, LARRY MOELLERING and DAVE HEGGER, pulling off the Coot Daily Double and taking home both a closest-to and a skin on the night.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: …nuttin’ good about it!
THE BAD: …was as bad as it gets!
THE UGLY: …Cooter 10s!

“Say it ain’t so JOE!”
