95 degrees with a 115-degree heat index, it was the hottest day of the year by far for the Position Round play on the Meramec course.
The temp wasn’t the only thing that was hot on the night…KENRICK’S MEATS (Team 11) took over the top spot in the standings for the First Half, making them the FIRST HALF CHAMPS after HAEGELE NURSERY had a tight grip on first place for the majority of the half.
K.G. ELECTRIC, INC (Team 4) officially came in third place on a tiebreaker.
Joe The Butcher will be proud of the boys and the stage is set for the second half, starting next week. Week 12 will be on the Meramec where everyone starts at Ground Zero and the skins will be back to $5 bucks.

Speaking of of skins, with a $500 jackpot, there were only 2 winners on the night: “Uncle” DAVE HEGGER and GARY GARDNER!
NICK KAUSCH (37) had the low scratch score of the night and there was no low net score to report. RUSS KLEVORN and BRETT MINIEX grabbed the closest to prizes on the night. GEORGE ERMOLD earned a spot on the Milestone Watch and a couple others inched closer.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: It took Team 11 11 weeks to win it on Week 11.
THE BAD: It took Team 2 just 2 weeks to lose it.
THE UGLY: GARRY BYRD‘S streak of 0-9-0.
