Week 17 happened on The Prairie course and the conditions were fitting for the name: 98 degrees, 98% humidity, very little wind. Whew.
But, hotter than the weather was the match of the week for Week 17! The highlight was the 7 points taken by AALCO MFG. (Team 5) to take over the top spot from TC & CO (Team 13). The rest of the standings had a lot of movement with just 3 weeks left until the Position Round.
The low scratch score of the night was turned in by BRAD GARLICH with his 2-under-par 34. Brad also joined the 100 Win Club with his victory on the night.

A couple other guys on the Milestone Watch got a little closer to their respective honors. Meanwhile, DOUG WERNER (28/43) had the low net score on the night.
The two closest to the pin awards were nabbed by MEL STORTZUM and ADAM LAURY. In fact, Mel’s award was nearly a hole-in-one and was still challenged by CHRIS TUREK who also almost had a hole-in-one on #2 (picture below). Both guys were oh so close to the $1,800 prize money!
Next week’s match to watch is SOUTHSIDE MACHINE (Team 12) against the residents of the top spot, AALCO MFG. (Team 5) with just 4.5 points of separation.
