(UPDATED) Thoughts & Prayers: Jack Perlongo

Jack Perlongo, the 24-year-old son of longtime Cooter John Perlongo, passed away on July 18, 2021 after a 2.5 year battle with cancer.

John said this about his son on his Facebook announcement: “Courageously, he fought this until the very end. In his 24 years on earth, Jack put a footprint on this earth and his legacy will live forever.”

CELEBRATION OF LIFE
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held on Saturday July 31, 2021 at Our Lady of Providence Catholic Church There will be a gathering from 9:00am-11:00am, followed by a Mass at 11:00am (luncheon after mass).

Please take a moment to share your condolences directly with John as Jack will be missed by his entire family and by the Cooters who enjoyed golfing with him at the Lake in the past!

Your family is in our prayers. Jack was such a nice young man and he touched a lot of people. I know all his Evans family are saddened by his passing.

My condolences to your entire family. Jack was a student in my finance class in CIMBA the fall of 2018. He was a fine student and I saw throughout the semester his excitement about his experiences in Italy and the rest of Europe. My wife and I are saddened by his passing.

Jack was a great caddie and comrade for Dave Schweitzer and I and was instrumental in us winning the 2013 Sunset Country Club Member-Guest. He could really read putts, especially mine because I needed it.
My deepest condolences and sympathies to the entire Perlongo family.
