It was so…freaking…hot… ?…98 degrees and high humidity on the Woodlands is what greeted Coot’s guys for the Week 11 Position Round.
But that didn’t stop Team 3 from taking down the First Half title!
CONGRATS TC & CO. – FIRST HALF CHAMPS!
And, you guessed it, the much-anticipated rematch between “NUBBY” & “JOE JOE” was the final, closing chapter. Nubby’s revenge from last week says it all.
In fact, all top 6 teams posted a split that resulted in NO CHANGE in the top of the standings. Only 5 of the 14 teams moved around after the Position Round and we’re officially halfway there on the 2022 season!
The low scratch score of the night was a 36 by RUSS KLEVORN. On the low net side, CHRIS TOCKSTEIN shot a 45 that netted out to a 27.
JIM ROESCH and BRETT MINIEX brought in the closest to the pin prizes on the night. Oh, and a hole-in-one in 2022 is officially worth $2,300!
THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: Only skin of the night, a birdie on #9 by JASON GILLICK, good for $530!
THE BAD: Heat outside & inside.
THE UGLY: Next week, all teams are tied for first…or last…depending how full your glass is!
“THANK YOU to the league for the gift I received last night – much appreciated!”
