A Total Shake-up – Week 13 Recap

There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and temps were in the mid-90s with a light breeze for Week 13 play on the Prairie Course.

Call it unlucky – call it weird – call it bad karma – whatever you call it, #13 sure lived up to its reputation. The total stroke average (46.4) was above average (45.8) and the standings look very different than they did going into the night.

EVERY team changed positions in the standings!

PAUL THE PAINTER lost all 10 points to plummet to the bottom. Meanwhile, there are S-I-X teams tied for 7th Place with 8 points. TC & CO. scooted into First Place, but by only a half-point and only 12 points separating the top and the bottom, early in the second half.

MATT JOST not only got one of the closest to prizes of the night…he narrowly missed out on $2,300 on #2! SHAWN GAWRYS got the other closest to on the night.

There were 3 eagles recorded on #9…as in…no skin! Getting those eagles were: CORY NEWMAN, GEORGE ERMOLD, and DOUG BIGGS.

On the flip-side, there were 6 Cooter-10s recorded on the night.

Should I go on? Didn’t think so.

TONY JOST (37) had the low scratch score of the night. He was only one of 5 sub-40 scores on the night. JOE TUREK had the low net score of the night (31/44).

ROLAND LAURY had a rough outing, opening the door for RYAN VAN DILLEN (-3) to take over the Sandbagger Award.

There was no action on the Milestone Watch…but…JEFF POHRER will be added soon!

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: 10-point night for HEYL FARMS
THE BAD: Gardner Bros gettin’ pounded by “Short Pants” & “Short Guy
THE UGLY:TelaMarkus

Tim Gardner, Elliot Kite, Tom Heyl, & Gary Gardner enjoying the only shade on the course for Week 13…taking a break from Short Pants & Short Guy whooping up on the Gardner Bros. (Beer Cart Gal is none-too-impressed).

Lake Pairings soon after July 15th deadline!”
