Coot’s guys took on the Woodlands with 92-degree temps and just a slight breeze across the course. Apparently that’s the perfect set up for: A) alotta changes & B) a personal best.
SOUTHSIDE MACHINE took all 10 points for the second week in a row. They’re now just a half-point out of First Place and the new resident, HEYL FARMS, who got 8 points to jump into the coveted spot.
The standings are tightening up with just a little separation throughout and just 5 weeks of scoring left. The top 9 spots of the standings are all within a 10-point sweep of taking over First.
How about 8 sub-40 rounds on the night?! There were also 3 at 40 – all on a normally-tough track, the Woodlands.
Two guys had the low scratch score of 34: DOUG BIGGS and MATT HINES. That 34 for Doug netted out to a 27, good for the low net score of the night. TIM JOST (41) also netted a 27 on the night.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: #4 lookin’ to win all 10 points for the first time ever!
THE BAD…UGLY…: BIGGS winning with a 34.
THE…REALLY…UGLY: Nubby losing with a 34.
