And just like that, the 36th season is officially over! TC & CO. went into the championship match with the tiebreaker in hand. So, HEYL FARMS had to get at least 5.5 points to win their 4th league championship…and that’s exactly what they did.
It came down to the last shot on the last hole and HEYL FARMS pulled through to take home the championship. They became the 2nd team in Coot’s history to win 4 league titles (well, sorta…Bean & Heyl won 2 in ’07 & ’10 and then Heyl Farms won 2 in ’14 & ’22…but who cares about technicalities anyway??).
CONGRATULATIONS HEYL FARMS!
There are now 18 different Cooters who have just 1 more cup victory than PAT MAROON.
