What A Turn Of Events! – Week 6 Recap

With threatening skies and 78-degree temps, Coot’s guys took on the Meramec course for Week 6 play and the top half of the standings tight.

And WHAT A TURN OF EVENTS!

Three different teams swept all 10 points on the night – TC & CO., AALCO MFG., and GILLICK BRICKWORK. This led to a flip flop and even tighter standings! And…SOUTHSIDE MACHINE‘s 7-point lead is no longer…

There were 2 sub-par rounds carded on the night, each good for the low scratch score: CD LONGO (35) & ALEX DAVIS (35). ALEX’s 35 was also good for the low net score on the night (28). TIM CARBERY and MIKE MARCHI took home the closest to honors for Week 6.

All of that action sets up the match of the week for Week 7 on the Woodlands. K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. will take on LONGO BIGGS INJURY LAW with just 1 point between them and just 6 & 7 points out of the top spot!

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: No rain delays
THE BAD: No bar service inside
THE UGLY: TC & CO. revenge on last year’s loss.

FYI – carryover skins worth $500, split 3 ways along with eagle on 9 by NICK KAUSCH JR.

The current leaders for the season awards have been added to the board: DEREK STEPHENS is -5 and leading for the Sandbagger Award; KYLE LONGO is 4-0-0 (1.000) and leading for the Best Record; and JASON GILLICK just can’t win and is leading the “Sey Tuff Guy” Award with his 0-5-0 (.000) start to 2023!
