Week 5 happened after Week 4 but before Week 3 (don’t forget, Week 3 is happening on TUESDAY, May 7th), and featured play on the Woodlands with 84-degrees and overcast skies. The night was a little different than usual.
First off, The Holding Co. is finally broke after 2 carryovers in the skins game. ELLIOT KITE had an eagle on #4 and CHUCK LIZENBEE had one on #7 – good for $400 each!
The closest to the pin winners were the brothers JOST, TIM & MATT. Being a breath away from an ace only got MATT GAGNEPAIN a pizza (see The Good below).
Four Cooters had low net scores, each a 30. DAVE SCHWEITZER had the low scratch score on the night with his 37.
The team results were a little different too. There were 2 teams, SOUTHSIDE MACHINE and K.G. ELECTRIC, INC., who got all 10 points on the night. On top of that, there were 5 matches that ended in a tie.
All that said, the match of the week for TUESDAY’s make up is HEYL FARMS taking on SOUTHSIDE MACHINE, with 6 points separating the first and seventh place teams.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, & THE UGLY
THE GOOD: MATT GAGNEPAIN was inches away from his second ace at Tapawingo (see pic below).
THE BAD: 2 teams with 0 points tonight.
THE UGLY: The separation of the top 7 teams from the bottom 7 this early in the season.
