There’s not much that could have made Opening Day 2011 much better! The weather was near-perfect: partly cloudy/breezy/low 70s. The stage was set for the season to get going.
With festive attitudes and rusty swings, Coot’s guys hit the front 9 to get the 25th edition of Coot’s league off and running. There were plenty of guys, though, that weren’t rusty at all!
Jim Roesch (Haegele Nursery) and Joe Sonderman (Haegele Nursery) each shot a one-over-par-37 on Coot’s Opening Day. Three other guys shot in the 30s and many more in the 40s, not bad after nearly eight months off!
Opening Day even included the addition of another member to the 100 Win Club!
CONGRATULATIONS TO DAVE COOPER (HAEGELE NURSERY)!
That’s right, with his score of 44 on the night, Dave made his way into the elite club. All of this excitement from , helped put them in a tie for first place in Coot’s post-first-week standings.
