THE DREADED BACK 9! – Week 2 Review

In St. Louis, there are a few things you can be certain of: Ted will make frozen custard, Gus will make pretzels, TLR will bat the pitcher 8th because he can, and the back 9 at Quail will cause Coot’s guys to shake in their golf shoes.

But it’s not without reason; on Thursday night, 23 of the 48 league-play golfers shot 50 or above (that’s 14+ strokes above par)! There were, in fact, only two golfers that had sub-40 rounds: Bruce Thomas (K.G. Electric, Inc.) and Nick Kausch (Quail Creek), shooting 36 and 38 respectively.

Matt Gagnepain (Metro Electric) did turn in the lowest net-score of the night with his 40.

But, while we are only two weeks in and we have yet another member of the 100 Win Club!

CONGRATULATIONS TO JOHN GREFFET (K.G. ELECTRIC, INC.)!

John shot a 45 and earned him self victory #100 to join an elite Club!

Rain Rain Stay Away Fall From Grace Not in the Groove Yet
Two rain-free weeks in the books…hoping for the same on Week 3! The defending champs (Bean & Heyl) are already looking for 2nd half redemption after their tumble to 11th place in the standings. Jim Pleimann (G & G Snow Plow) hasn’t quite found his swing this season, as evidenced by his Week 2 round of 67 (on 9 holes).

Check out the updated standings and handicaps to get ready for Week 3!
