Hot & Heavy – Week 13 Recap

Coot’s 26th season just keeps rolling along.  There was some more great shooting on the front-9 during Week 13.  There were three guys who shot even par (36): Bruce Thomas, Joe Sonderman & Jim Jost III.  Jimmy III also got the low-net-score of the night (28).

The great shooting earned Tim Sargent his 99th career victory – he’s just 1 win away from the elite 100-Win Club.  Meanwhile John Cooper & Chris Pohrer hit milestones of their own.  John earned career loss #100, while Chris got career loss #150 – welcome to those clubs, gentlemen.

The skins from Week 12 carried over, making the pot this week $410.  That was split three-ways between three birdie golfers: Adam Laury (#1), Tim Sargent (#2), & Joe Sonderman (#8).

First-place, Mead Electric, extended their lead in the standings.  They now have a four-point lead over Metro Electric, going into Week 14.  On the other hand, Southside Machine needs to step up their second-half play; they currently are in ninth place with just 12 points.

THE GOOD – Joe Joe on fire! Ready for the Lake?

THE BAD – NORRRRRRRRM’S 61

Joe Sonderman & Tim Sargent nabbed the closest-to-the-pin honors on the night.

The Match of the Week going into Week 14 will feature K.G. Electric, Inc. against G & G Snow Plow – both teams need 10 points to challenge for First Place.
