Another Coot First – Week 18 Recap

For just the second time this season, Coot’s guys were battling the weather conditions with rain, thunder, and lighting in the area.  But, that didn’t keep us from a Coot Brown first in the week…GAME ON!

If you remember, it took an extra week to determine a winner of the first half.  Well, Mead Electric made up for that in the second half!  For the first time in Coot history, the second half title is wrapped up before the Week 19 Position Round!

After their clean sweep of all 10 points from K.G. Electric, Inc. (who has struggled to field 4 golfers for the last 4 weeks), Mead Electric put enough space between themselves and Southside Machine to guarantee a spot in the 2012 championship round against first half winners, Quail Creek.

CONGRATULATIONS MEAD ELECTRIC!

Position Round next week, though, will not be without intrigue.  Week 19 will feature 6 teams fighting for second & third place monies.

THE GOOD – Rainy

THE BAD – Thundering
THE UGLY – Lightning

Closest-to-the-pin honors were earned by Jeff Laury & Dave Cooper.  Low-net scores were turned in by: Bob Gardiner (29) & Jim Pleimann (30).   Tim Sargent joined the elite 100-win club on the night as well (the only action on the Milestone Watch).

CONGRATULATIONS TIM SARGENT!

COOT SAYS: “Shots dropped to an ounce & no special pricing on Mich Ultra?  What the………..”
