What a Blur – Week 17 Recap

The heat finally snapped a bit for Week 17 & a nice evening with 90-degree temperatures greeted Coot’s guys for the last week of golf before the annual Lake Tourney.

But the weather doesn’t seem to impact Mead Electric.  They are about to put the final nail in this second-half coffin after getting another 8 points on the night.

Jim Jost III turned in the low-net score of the night with his 29.  Meanwhile, Bruce Thomas and Greg Gillick captured the closest-to-the-pin honors on the night.

Here’s a GBU that’s not quite from Week 17 but from the days following Week 17!

THE GOOD – Lake Weekend is over

THE BAD – Ditto!
THE UGLY – Larko’s 8 iron @ the bottom of the Lake.

It wasn’t all perfect on the night.  While Marty Yanics was getting closer to his Milestone of 100 wins with #96, Chris Turek & Ray Gillick each joined a less sought-after club with their 150th loss of their careers.

The feature match-up of Week 18 will pit Mead Electric (Team #4) against K.G. Electric, Inc. (Team #7) – can you say 10!?

COOT SAYS: “Turn in pics from the Lake Tourney – we all need a good laugh!”  You can email your pictures to webmaster@cootbrowngolf.net!  In the meantime – check out the Lake Tourney to see the pictures submitted so far!
