They’ll Never Forget Their First Time – Week 4 Recap

2014-Larry-Bumbicka-Doc-RuncoCloudy, windy, cold – only 50-degrees…all the makings of a rough night on the links.  In fact, most scores were up again with 14 different guys turning in scores in the 50s.

The only sub-40 card was turned in by BRUCE THOMAS.  Bruce also joined the Milestone Watch as he is now just five wins away from joining the very-exclusive, 200-Win Club!  ED WILLIAMS turned in the low-net-score on the night with his 29 (40).

For the first time this season, we had a team take all 10 points against another team!  K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. swept the night over the lonely, last-place team: PAUL THE PAINTER.  That allowed Team #7 to make the biggest move int he standings and into a tie for 4th place with JOEY B’S.

HEYL FARMS maintained their hold on the top spot with just a two-point lead over THE BEAN HOUSE.  CHRIS TOCKSTEIN & DAVE SCHUSTER earned the closest-to-the-pin honors on the night.

The real story of the night, though, was the Coot Brown Golf League debut of the newest Subs – DOC RUNCO & LARRY BUMBICKA!  Kudos to you both on joining the league (finally)!

[pullquote align=”center” textalign=”center” width=”100%”]THE GOOD – JOHN DAVIS with the only skin on the night with his birdie on #2!
THE BAD – JOHN DAVIS had the only skin on the night.
THE UGLY – JOHN DAVIS’ golf swing. [/pullquote]
