Oh what a night! The weather was perfect with temps hovering at 80-degrees and the sun shinning brightly.
It was a perfect night for C.E.S. to nab six points and push their lead to eight points over second-place METRO ELECTRIC. With just a few weeks left…it’s not lookin’ good for the rest of the league…only three teams are within sweeping distance of the top spot in the standings!
It was also a great night for some great shootin’ by several of Coot’s guys who carded some terrific low-net-scores:

- DAVE COOPER – 39 (29)
- TONY TUREK – 42 (29)
And another golfer, who just happens to be the #1 golfer in the league, shot another even-par-36: way to go DAVE SCHWEITZER! That’s right, 15 weeks through the 2014 season, the updated League Rankings have been posted and DAVE is solidly in the #1 spot with BRUCE THOMAS reclaiming his #2 position. And, yes, NORM is still #100…
NICK KAUSCH was in no mood for sharing on the night and took home both closest-to-the-pin honors on the night. Meanwhile, there was simply no activity on the Milestone Watch; but, the Player Records page has been updated through Week 15.
BOB GARDINER joined GARY PADBERG & TIM JOST on the Sandbagger Award watch list by improving his handicap by three strokes. RUSS KLEVORN (8-2-0) & HERB GOLTERMAN (4-1-0) each have .800 win percentages and are currently in the lead for the Best Record Award. And, yes, NORM is still in the lead for the “Sey Tuff Guy” Award with his 0-5-0 (.000) record.
The Match of the Week next week will feature SOUTHSIDE MACHINE (Team 10) against C.E.S. (Team 4) with just 10 points separating the two teams!
