Some Shot Bad, Some Shot Good – Week 7 Recap

bad-golf-shot-happy-gilmoreIt was a muggy 85-degrees…but it was all about avoiding the thunder!  But, for one team, the thunder is on the doorstep!

C.E.S. managed to grab only 2 points on the night and allowed nearly every other team back in the race with just a couple of weeks left in the half.  Specifically, K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. is now just a half-point out of the top spot in the standings!

The biggest jump on the night was by PAUL THE PAINTER (AKA: Coot’s Cubbies) who earned 7 points on the night to move up to be just 4.5 back in fifth place.

Going the other way was G & G SNOW PLOW who went from 4th place down to 9th place after getting just 2.5 points in their match up.

A few guys earned low-net-scores on the night:

  • ED WILLIAMS – 29 (39)
  • TIM SARGENT – 28 (45)
  • JIM JOST – 28 (41)

Here’s The Good, The Bad & The Ugly:

  • THE GOOD: ELLIOT KITE earned the “Daily Double” with a closest-to honor and the only skin on the night!
  • THE BAD: The league behind Coot Brown.
  • THE UGLY: No respect for the Coot Brown League!

The other closest-to-the-pin honor was nabbed by the aforementioned STEVE TUREK.  Another week meant more action on the Milestone Watch! DAVE HEGGER joined the list with his 145th career victory.  Meanwhile, CHRIS CARUSO got #147 and STEVE MINIEX got #99…just 1 more!

The feature match up of week 8 is C.E.S. vs. G & G SNOW PLOW…a good night for Team #3 will put them right back in it.

COOT SAYS: “Summer heat is here!”
