The temperatures are rising and Coot’s guys are just as hot on the front 9!
There were 9 different guys who carded scores of under 40 on the night.
Low nets were turned in by: GARY GARDNER (25/38), RON SUDA (29/38) & MARTY YANICS (26/45). In fact, GARY GARDNER was flirting with the league record for low-net-score of 24.
The low round of the night was the 3-under-par-33 turned in by DAVE SCHWEITZER – good shootin’ DAVE! But…wait…he lost by 1 stroke to GEORGE ERMOLD. That 33 was only 1 stroke off DAVE’S own league record of 32.
The leader board didn’t change much going into the halfway point next week. So, here’s the Position Round match ups:
- 5 vs. 7
- 12 vs. 6
- 9 vs. 11
- 3 vs. 8
- 2 vs. 1
- 4 vs. 10
The feature match of the week is, of course, JOEY B’S & THE TUREK BROTHERS…JOEY B’S holds the tiebreaker!
STEVE TUREK & JOHN GREFFET grabbed closest-to-the-pin honors on the night. On the Milestone Watch, ROLAND LAURY got #148 & BOB HAEGELE got #98. CHRIS TUREK joined the watchlist by getting career victory #195!
Still no love for JEFF POHRER.
DAVE COOPER joined RON SCHMITT on the list for Sandbagger at -4. But, RON SCHMITT continues to be red-hot and is now a perfect 7-0-0 (1.000) on the Best Record listing. JUGGIE HINDUJA & ERIC POHRER are leading the way for the Sey Tuff Guy honors.
REMINDER: LAST CALL FOR NIGHT AT THE RACES!
“Back nine?”
