Another Wednesday golf outing and it was a wild night in the standings! With 80-degree temperatures and windy conditions, Coot’s guys took advantage of the makeshift-9-hole course at Tapawingo National to give the standings a shake up as we begin the final approach of the first half.
Every tenant of second place through last place is now different after Week 6. The only constant: K.G. ELECTRIC, INC. in the top spot. They only grabbed 5 points but managed to keep their claws in first place.
The biggest jump in the standings was by JOEY B’s who moved from fifth place to second place by earning 8 points on the night. This puts them in prime position to set their sights on the potential of back-to-back titles.
On the individual front, there was some darn good shooting by a few guys who all carded a 37 on the night:
- LARRY MOELLERING
- RUSS KLEVORN
- NICK KAUSCH
MIKE WAMSER (29/38) carded the low-net-score of the night while MIKE WAMSER & CHRIS TUREK took home the closest-to-the-pin honors on the night. BOB TWITCHELL moved up a notch on the Milestone Watch with his 148th career victory.
And, YUP, it’s the return of the good, the bad, and the ugly:
- THE GOOD: Pizza pie! That’s amore!
- THE BAD: The ghost of K.O.
- THE UGLY: Roland, on suicide watch
NOTICE: there will be some scheduling changes coming out soon…please be aware!
“THANKS TO ALL FOR THE THOUGHTFUL GIFT!”
