On The Woodlands…On A Wednesday – Week 4 Recap

85 Degrees.
Partly Cloudy.
The Woodlands Course.
On a Wednesday.

As if that’s not all odd enough…9 golfers shot sub-40 scores on Week 4 night.  Leading the way was the comeback of BRUCE THOMAS with a 2-under-par-34.  Don’t sleep on NICK KAUSCH and his 35, though.

Also with a highlight-reel night was last year’s “Sandbagger Award” recipient, CHAD LARKOWSKI with an even-par-36.  TIM SARGENT (27/42), though, had the low-net-score of the night.

Keeping in line with the weird Wednesday-night play, CHRIS TOCKSTEIN missed a hole-in-one by inches on #3 and there were no skins given out (meaning, there’s a carryover to next week of $190+).

It wasn’t all weird, though…some of it was Good, Bad, & Ugly:

  • THE GOOD: Coot Taco Special!
  • THE BAD(A$$): GEORGE ERMOLD starting off the night with 2 birdies!
  • THE UGLY: GEORGE ERMOLD finishing off the night with a 48 (sorry)!

RICK BRENNAN got another victory, #96 for his career, to inch closer to his milestone on the Milestone Watch.
