The Meramec Was Up But The Scores Were Down! – Week 7 Recap

Wow! Wow! Wow! On a 90-degree, balmy night in May, Coot’s guys dominated Week 7 play.

A record 12 guys carded below 40 on the night and 3 guys carded an even-40.  Leading the way was Super Senior DAN BERSETT who had the low-net-score of 23 (36) for a new league recordROLAND LAURY was nipping at Dan’s heels with his 25 (36) on the evening as well.

A couple other guys also carded 36’s on the night: DAVE HEGGER & NICK KAUSCH.  Meanwhile, DAN BERSETT & JOE TUREK took home the closest-to-the-pin honors on the night.

RICK BRENNAN (#99), LARRY MOELLERING (#149), and MATT TUREK (#148) all got a win to inch closer to join their respective Milestone Clubs.

C.E.S. had a mild night but still maintains a 7.5-point lead over SOUTHSIDE MACHINE with no other team within 10 points of the top spot.  Despite that, the Feature Match of the Week for Week 8 will put KENRICK’S MEATS (third place) in the unenviable position of trying to close the gap as they take on C.E.S., head-to-head.

Here’s a look at The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly on the night:

  • THE GOOD: Good to see O’KANE back on the links!
  • THE BAD: TYLER bought a new PW.
  • THE UGLY: “Patio Smokin’ Lounge”
