With a heat advisory on their backs, Coot’s guys tackled the Meramec Course for the last time for a few weeks and yielded only 3 sub-40 rounds. Those rounds were turned in by: DAVE SCHWEITZER (36), BRUCE THOMAS (37), and MIKE O’KANE (38). Congratulate those guys because there were no low nets to speak of!
CHRIS CARUSO and DAVE “SMASH BURGER” SCHWEITZER got the two closest-to-the-pin honors on the night and there was no action on the Milestone Watch.
It’s not unusual to have movement in the standings this early in a half…but, it IS slightly irregular to have EVERY team move from one week to the next. Nonetheless, we have a log jam at the top between SOUTHSIDE MACHINE and THE TUREK BROTHERS who are now tied for first place. They can’t get too comfy though given the reality that only 1 point behind them, tied for third place, is GILLICK BRICKWORK and JOEY B’S.
That means all eyes will be on a key, early-half matchup on Week 14 (that is, remember, being played on WEDNESDAY, JULY 11th): SOUTHSIDE MACHINE vs. THE TUREK BROTHERS on The Woodlands.
