Week 18 happened on the Woodlands with more threats of rain…and, with no wind at all, it was basically a humidor out there. But, despite it being the third night of golf in 7 days, Coot’s guys got back to shootin’!
There were 8 cards turned in with sub-40 rounds, led by a great night from NICK KAUSCH with his 3-under-par-33.
There was no action on the Milestone Watch…but, for those of you following along at home, DOUG WERNER lost again (#12). STEVE MINIEX and BRUCE THOMAS brought home the closest-to-the-pin honors on the night.
It was a double skins night, leading to a bigger pot for 3 guys to bring home $135 each – JIM JOST, CHAD LARKOWSKI, & MATT GAGNEPAIN.
The leaderboard stayed pretty much the same with the top 7 teams still within 9 points of SOUTHSIDE MACHINE in the leadoff position. The biggest move was by GILLICK BRICKWORK into the 2-hole and now within 2.5 points of that all-too-familiar top spot.
With the Lake Tourney on everyone’s minds, here’s a look back at The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly:
- THE GOOD: Lake golfin’!
- THE B…SAD: Just 4 weeks left of the season.
- THE UGLY: What’s done @ the Lake… “stays @ the Lake!”
“SEND YOUR LAKE PIX TO THE WEBMASTER!”
