Mystery Solved: Trophy Found – Week 4 Recap

Welcome to the recap of Week 4, that took place on the 2nd night of golf, 19 days after the season started.

Confused yet? So are we. Good news is, we have an updated schedule available for you. Be sure you pay attention to it because there are a few changes you’ll want to catch, including:

  • Week 2 makeup on Tuesday, May 7
  • Week 5 on Thursday, May 9
    • Next week’s doubleheader is subject to flood conditions…stay tuned to the web & Facebook page.
  • Week 3 makeup on Tuesday, May 21
  • Week 10 moved to Wednesday, June 12

But, as for Week 4, there was some good shooting, despite the “Cart Path Only” conditions on the Woodlands course. The Low Round was carded by “JOE JOE” (34) and JEFF LAURY (37/30) & DEREK STEPHENS (42/30) had the low net-scores of the night.

The wet night also featured the first eagles of the year, turned in by TYLER SOLLBERGER (on #4) and JOE SONDERMAN (on #7). Let us know if you got the closest-to-the-pin honors on the night…they didn’t make it to the recap paper before the names were forgotten.

Doug Biggs & KG with the once lost but now found Coot trophy!

Perhaps the best news of the night: the mystery of the missing trophy was solved and it was returned to the clubhouse at Tapawingo!

CONGRATULATIONS goes out to GARRY BYRD who became the 47th member of the 100 Win Club.

“There will be subpoenas handed out next week.”
