The Only 9 Not Flooded – Week 2 (rescheduled) Recap

After the original Week 2 was rained out, Coot’s guys were greeted with perfect weather for a night of golf on the Woodlands track…the only 9 not flooded at Tapawingo National.

And what a night it was on the scorecards too! There were 7 sub-40 rounds turned in on the rescheduled night. Leading the way was the low round by NICK KAUSCH at 36. The low net score of the night was GARY SCHMIDT and his 27 (42).

The good shooting led to a lot of activity on the Milestone Watch. GARY SCHMIDT got #146 and JOHN COOPER got #149. Meanwhile, DENNIS BOWERS became just the 18th member of the 150 Win Club.

CONGRATULATIONS DENNIS!

Defending league champs, SOUTHSIDE MACHINE, are as hot as the Blues after getting all 10 points to extend their lead to 6 points over the second place team, THE TUREK BROTHERS.

The night featured another eagle by TYLER SOLLBERGER on hold #7. Closest-to-the-pin honors were brought home by MIKE O’KANE and DENNIS BOWERS.

The Coot doubleheader this week will feature Week 5 on Thursday, May 9th. Taking top billing on the night is the match of the week featuring #1 (SOUTHSIDE MACHINE) against #12 (PAUL THE PAINTER).

LET’S GO BLUES!
