Another Nice Day for Standings Watch – Week 16 Recap

With temps in the upper 80’s and the humidity low and play on the Woodlands course, everything was perfect for another nice day of watching the action in the standings!

JOEY B’S still managed to maintain at least a share of the top spot with HEYL FARMS. This was even after another week for the “broom sweep” as HEYL FARMS and PAUL THE PAINTER each got all 10 points on the night. This makes for the top 7 spots to be within just 8 points of each other after every team moved in the standings except the #1 team!

BRUCE THOMAS (34) had the low scratch score of the night – HE’S BACK! Meanwhile, TIM SARGENT (40/25) not only got the low net score on the night but he also nabbed the only skin with his birdie on #3.

NICK KAUSCH & CHRIS POHRER earned the closest-to-the-pin honors on the night. PAUL HILLYARD is alone for Sandbagger. MIKE O’KANE is still Best Record contender; but HERB GOLTERMAN has something to “sey” for Sey Tuff Guy. GARY WILLIAMS needs just 1 more win on the Milestone Watch.

But, none of that excitement compares to the hoopla in the Clubhouse for the Lake Tourney pairings! That pairings for Friday’s Shootout and Saturday & Sunday’s tournament are all available now on the Lake Tourney page.
