#150 for #21 – Week 17 Recap

Week 17 took place on “The Modified 9” and featured San Diego-like weather with temps in the mid-80s and humidity almost non-existent. A perfect night for some fun golf as the 33rd season nears the end.

In fact, with just 4 weeks of scoring left, the bridge is expanding in the standings. JOEY B’S extended their lead over the field and there are no only 2 teams within the 10-point mark: HEYL FARMS and the surging PAUL THE PAINTER.

Low scratch scores were carded by BRETT MINIEX (36) and TIM GARDNER (36). The low net score of the night was DAVE HEGGER (28/36).

But, the exciting news on the individual front came from the Milestone Watch as GARY WILLIAMS became the 21st member of the 150 Win Club!

CONGRATULATIONS GARY!

TIM SARGENT also added himself to the Watch with his 145th career victory.

BRUCE THOMAS and BRETT MINIEX grabbed the closest-to-the-pin honors on the night and MIKE O’KANE got back on the winning track to improve his win percentage to 90.9%!

This last stretch of August will be the Dog Days for sure. In fact, DON’T FORGET, Week 18 will be on Tuesday, August 6th. If you need golfers, let Coot know ASAP!
