Worst Scoring in Years – Week 7 Recap

It was 68 calm degrees for Coot’s guys on Week 7…that was about the only good condition though. Play took place on the Woodlands course, which is tough-enough, but making it even worse were the very wet conditions that resulted in NO carry and NO roll.

All of that was a recipe for some of the worst scoring in years (perhaps 16) with one-third of the league shooting 50 or higher on the night.

Also for the first time in many years, all 12 teams were relocated in the standings. Highlighting the relocations were: HAEGELE NURSERY moving from 4th place to 1st place and METRO ELECTRIC moving from 2nd place to 6th place.

There was even a 10-point night turned in by KENRICK’S MEATS…they are now in 11th place. LOL.

All of that action sets up for the Week 8 Match of the Week between THE TUREK BROTHERS (3rd place) and C.E.S. (4th place).

The low round on the night of tough scoring was turned in by DAVE “SMASH” SCHWEITZER (36). The closest-to prizes of the night went to GARRY BYRD and DAVE HARTE. On the Milestone Watch, DAVE COOPER, BOB DEGUNIA and JEFF POHRER all got another win closer to their respective milestones. JIM ROESCH earned a spot on the watchlist with #95.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, & THE UGLY…

THE GOOD: 19th Hole is finally open!
THE GOOD: league scores.
THE GOOD: pulled hammy!

NOT ME.”
