The heat is back, the humidity is back, and Coot’s guys are back (on the Meramec) for the second half. And, just like gettin’ out of rehab, it’s a fresh start for all!
JOEY B’S took most advantage of that fresh start by whoopin’ up on AALCO MFG. and taking all 10 points – the first we’ve heard from JOEY B’S since lunch on the patio.
There were 11 sub-40 scores on the night. Leading the way was DENNIS BOWERS (36) and the lowest low net score of the year, turned in by MARK LANFERSIECK (38/26).
Next week’s match of the week will be 2 matches that feature the top 4 teams battling it out: PAUL THE PAINTER (third place) vs. GILLICK BRICKWORK (second place) and JOEY B’S (first place) vs. HEYL FARMS (fourth place).
CD LONGO and GARY SCHMIDT brought home the closest-to honors on the night and the Milestone Watch was silent.
