Soggy Conditions – Week 8 Recap

The temperature was spot on at about 65 degrees. But, the on-again, off-again rain created soggy conditions and a tightening of the standings.

The top team, TC & CO. (Team 3) only got 2.5 points, allowing the rest of the league to close the gap. There are now 8 teams within 10 points of the top spot with the position round FAST approaching!

Which takes us to the rebook of Week 7 for this coming Tuesday. DON’T FORGET – you’re playing the schedule as was originally scheduled for Week 7…which is perfect for the feature match of the week!

KENRICK’S MEATS will face C.E.S. on the rescheduled Week 7. There is only a half-point separating the two teams with Team 2 in second place and Team 12 in third place. Their respective 42.5 and 42 points is nipping at the heels of the aforementioned first place team with their 44 points.

The low net score of the night was a popular one of 30, carded by 5 different Cooters. Two guys had notably-low scratch scores on the night: MATT “DON’T ASK ME ABOUT HUSSO” HINES (35) and JIM ROESCH (36).

In what has already been an active season on the Milestone Watch, we have another new member of the 100 Win Club! ADAM LAURY got career-victory #100 on the night, joining the important club!

CONGRATULATIONS ADAM!

RUSS KLEVORN and MATT TUREK SR. took home the prize money for closest to on the evening.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: No rain out
THE BAD: Rained on
THE UGLY: T.C. yelling FORE!
