Week 7, Take 2 – Week 7 Recap

After being postponed due to weather, conditions were pretty good for the new date. Coot’s guys battled the Meramec with 90-degree temps, breezy conditions, and Tuesday golf. Meaning…be ready for the next 9 coming up on Thursday on the Prairies!

Scores would indicate the guys like playing on Tuesdays. There were 11 Cooters with rounds in the 30s and 3 more with rounds at 40!

Leading the way was DAVE SCHWEITZER (35) and CHRIS COLLINS (35). Not to be outdone, CHRIS TOCKSTEIN had the low net score on the night at 29 (48).

All that scoring led to KENRICK’S MEATS (Team 2) catching up with TC & CO. (Team 3), after their 6-week run on top of the standings.

And that leads to the feature match of the week for the quick-turnaround for Week 9 on Thursday, pitting the last-place HEYL FARMS (Team 10) against the new residents of First Place, KENRICK’S MEATS.

The closest to winners on the night were JOE SONDERMAN & NICK KAUSCH.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: Eagle on #9 for CHRIS COLLINS
THE BAD: NICK KAUSCH even par 36 for the tie
THE UGLY:Nubby” needs a new windshield

“Please let groups ahead of you vacate the green before teeing off.”
