Just 48 hours after the rescheduled Week 7, Coot’s guys were greeted by 75-degrees and a slight breeze on the Prairie…it was like a round of golf in San Diego!
But, scores were up – and the results of the night determined the real players in the race with just 2 weeks left in the First Half!
HAEGELE NURSERY (Team 5) got all 10 points from PAUL THE PAINTER (Team 11), putting them just 2 back of the lead. Speaking of the top spot, TC & CO. is back in their familiar place in the standings after a brief stint in second place. They can’t get too comfortable though, as their lead is only a half-point over KENRICK’S MEATS and there are 5 teams in real contention nipping at their heels.
And, right on cue, with just 2 points between them in first place and fourth place, the match of the week for Week 10 will be TC & CO. against HAEGELE NURSERY!
While scoring was up overall, there were some low scores of note. The low scratch score of the night was JASON GILLICK (36) and the low net score was a 30 by two guys: CHUCK LIZENBEE (44) and JIM JOST (38).
CHRIS COLLINS and KYLE LONGO took home the closest to prizes on the night.
THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: CHRIS COLLINS’S “Coot Double” with closest to & skin on #2
THE BAD: 14th place team
THE UGLY: 13 Cooters carded 50 and over
