It was less humid, but it was 91 degrees to kick off the second half on the Meramec.
The new half started particularly-well for JOEY B’S who took all 10 points from THE TUREK BROTHERS. KENRICK’S MEATS came out of the gates strong too, taking 9 points from SOUTHSIDE MACHINE.
JOEY B’S is trying to avenge their 2022 team # and KENRICK’S MEATS trying to forget their first half challenges. A perfect setting for match of the week for next week…you guessed it…Team #2 vs. Team #14!
Leading the news on the individual front was the addition of the third Cooter of the season to the 150 Win Club. RON SUDA got his third win of the season, his 150th of his career, to become the 29th member of the Club! There are now just 4 guys on The Watch.

The low scratch score of the night was GREG HANTAK (36) and the low net was SHAWN GAWRYS (39/30). And, for the first time this season, GARY GARDNER and JASON GILLICK took the closest to prizes.
ROLAND LAURY continues his strangle hold of the Sandbagger Award; HERB GOLTERMAN is still the best; and MATT TUREK JR. is still having a “tuff” season.
For the second time in 3 weeks, there were 7 skins on the night! That’s pretty amazing…unless you’re one of the 7 guys who have to split the pot!
