It was cloudy and mostly-comfortable all day…until Coot’s tee times came around and then it was mostly sunny in the 90s for play on the Big “M” for Week 14.
Although SOUTHSIDE MACHINE took all 10 points from THE TUREK BROTHERS, there was no change in the top 4 spots of the standings.
A few points of interest from Week 14:
CORY NEWMAN had a career round to say the least. He had the low scratch score (36) and the low net score (27) and that was with a double bogey on #8. For the rest of the guys, there were 11 sub-40 rounds and 3 @ 40.
All of this sets up next week’s play…on the Woodlands…ouch! The Match(es) of the Week feature all of the top 4 teams with KENRICK’S MEATS facing LONGO BIGGS and HEYL FARMS facing AALCO MFG.
A week after MATT nearly took home $2,300, the other Brothers Jost were the closest to winners on the night…JIM JOST JR. and TIM JOST, that is. And, there’s a 56th member of the 100 Win Club after NICK KAUSCH got his milestone victory on the night.
