Position Round Is Set! – Week 18a Recap

It’s not too often that Week 18 is what sets the stage for the second half position round. But, thanks to rainouts, that’s exactly what happened and Week 18(a) was played in San Diego conditions on The Woodlands.

And…WHAT A NIGHT it was!

It was a night that revealed the Position Round pairings:

  • Heyl Farms vs. Longo Biggs
  • Southside Machine vs. C.E.S.
  • Kenrick’s Meats vs. K.G. Electric, Inc.
  • Haegele Nursery vs. TC & Co.
  • Metro Electric vs. AALCO MFG.
  • Gillick Brickwork vs. Paul the Painter
  • Joey B’s vs. The Turek Brothers

While HEYL FARMS has not been in contention this late in years, LONGO BIGGS is rearing their ugly heads on a track to repeat…a truly daunting task.

This Thursday…on the Prairie…who will get to challenge TC & CO. for the “cup”?

A career night put in by DAVE HARTE got him the low scratch score of the night (36) and the low net score of the night (28).

Another career moment came in for DOUG WERNER who got win #100 to join the 100 Win Club!

CONGRATULATIONS DOUG!

KEVIN TYLER and MIKE O’KANE took home the closest-to-the-pin prize money for the night.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE UGLY:
THE GOOD: Just 2 of these updates left!
THE BAD: Runnin’ out of day light.
THE UGLY: “Sunset police presence” on the course?

FYI: tiebreakers for the Position Round: 1 over 10, 4 over 10, 1 over 4.

“$10 skins this Thursday!”
